RAVE REVOLUTION

The Rave Revolution proposes an alternative fate for London’s rave culture that gives the rave community an element of control in the development of the city. This exploration has developed through the proposition of new policies and licensing, an underground venue union, a new neighbourhood manifesto and the development of scenario propositions existing on a scale of extremes. All of these explorations have distilled into the Rave Revolution.

The revolution does not claim to be the only, or best solution to address the lack of space for night life within the city, but it acts as a deep investigation into one potential solution that aims to start the conversation of the clubbing community, working together with developers in order to claim their space within the city.
